The contract is for a detailed study that should provide: - analysis of the recent changes in the organisation of the distribution activities within the European Union; - statistical coverage of the distribution sector within the EU; - assessment of the estimated impact of these structural changes on competition and efficiency, and; - identification and analysis of the remaining barriers that still prevent operators from benefiting from closer market integration.
