The Environment Directorate-General is planning to assist between 100 and 200 projects in the field of environmental protection for a total budget of six million euro. To help it identify projects that might be eligible for financial support, the Commission has issued a call for proposals. The fields concerned include climate change; international affairs, trade and environment; development and environment; economic analyses and employment; legal affairs - environmental law; environmental impact assessment; radiation protection; industrial installations and biotechnology; chemical substances; and information and communication. Further information on these fields, and the nature and content of the activities, are set out in the documentation relating to the call.
