CORDIS has launched a new-look interface for the Energy, environment and sustainable development (EESD) programme, reflecting the changes previously adopted on the Fifth Framework programme (FP5) web service. Users will find the information in a new and lighter format. The new home page offers quicker access to all relevant information on this thematic programme, which covers a wide range of environment- and energy-related research projects as well as activities of a generic nature and support for research infrastructures. The interface provides a more user-friendly navigation to access information on the programme and related actions, calls, relevant documents and guidelines, links to assistance networks as well as news and events. In addition, descriptions of funded projects are available and classified by key actions. A quick access to previous research programmes and results enable potential participants to get a good idea of the kind of measures supported and partnering opportunities in all the fields covered, namely biodiversity, climate change, quality of life in cities, use of natural resources and more.
