The international network for small and medium sized enterprises (INSME) has launched a new web based portal aimed at improving the competitiveness and innovative processes of smaller European companies. The INSME portal is a free, multi stakeholder platform for policy makers, intermediaries and SMEs. On the site, users can visit sections dedicated to innovation and technology transfer policies, to promoting good practices, finding partners and technologies, launching joint projects and strengthening transregional and transnational cooperation. The ultimate goal of the INSME network, through the portal and other activities, is to strengthen linkages, cooperation and partnerships in the field of innovation and technology transfer for SMEs, with a particular focus on North-South and South-South collaboration.
