Study and research contracts on social policy

The European Commission (Directorate-General for Employment, Industrial Relations and Social Affairs) calls for individual consultants, associations or bodies to notify their interest in possible cooperation with the Commission on various aspects of social policy.

A register of potential contractors will be drawn up to be used in the selection of candidates who may be invited at a later stage to submit detailed proposals to the Commission under a restricted invitation to tender, related to the subject in question, and for a sum not exceeding ECU 200,000.

Study and research contracts will relate to the various aspects of social policy, particularly in the Member States. However, certain initiatives may cover member countries of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), the countries of Central or Eastern Europe or other countries or geographical regions. A list of the aspects of social policy which may be covered, together with details of the requirements for the candidate's dossier, are included in the call.

The call for expressions of interest will remain open in order to permit interested parties to submit their dossiers at any time.
