Euratom Safeguards Project: Project management and consultancy

The European Commission, Euratom Safeguards Directorate, has published an invitation to tender for the supply of project management and consultancy services for the analysis, design and construction of a nuclear materials accountancy and control database system (NMACS) for use by Gosatomnadzor of Russia Northern European District Directorate. This contract is part of Euratom support to the Commonwealth of Independent States, within the framework of the Euratom Safeguards Project.

The project management and consultancy services are to be provided at the headquarters of Gosatomnadzor of Russia, Northern European District Directorate, in St. Petersbourg, Russia. The consultant(s) proposed must satisfy the following criteria:

- At least three years' experience in the analysis and design of client/server database systems using the ORACLE RDEMS, ORACLE development tools and, optionally, ORACLE CASE or LBMS system engineer;
- At least 2 years' experience in project management of design and construction of large client/server databases;
- Good knowledge of Russian;
- Ability to work in St. Petersbourg for at least 12 months.
