CORDIS (Community Research and Development Information Service) gives you easy access to a wide range of research results funded by EU science and technology offers. The CORDIS RTD-Results database was designed to help you publicize your exploitable technology throughout Europe in order to connect you with organizations that can work with you to further develop or commercially exploit your research results. Once you submit your technology offers to CORDIS, you have taken the first important step towards contacting other European partners.

Many organizations across Europe have had successful CORDIS connections. For example, the CORDIS RTD-Results database recently served as key contact point for GR, Chemical Works of Gedeon Richter Ltd., a Hungarian pharmaceutical company. Through CORDIS, GR learned of a new process, developed by a French research company, for the production of an active raw pharmaceutical material by a non-pathogenic fermentation process. The initial contacts for technology transfer took place last year and, following ongoing discussions and exchange of information, negotiations are now taking place toward the licensing and incorporation of the new process.

Submitting information to RTD-Results is free and you can submit as many different entries as you wish, as long as you are seeking collaboration for the exploitation of your findings. You can submit your entry by completing a CORDIS Technology Offers Entry Form. Entry Forms can be easily obtained from the CORDIS Information Collection Unit, the CORDIS WWW server, or by electronic mail (see contact details below). For larger volumes of data, it is not always necessary to complete an Entry Form for each offer. It may be possible for the CORDIS team to adapt the data that you currently have to the requirements of the database, particularly if your data is already in an electronic format.
