Potential evaluators for "Dissemination and exploitation of RTD results" programme

The European Commission, DG XIII, has published a call for expressions of interest for the provision of services in relation to the evaluation of proposals or the periodical review of projects under the specific programme for the dissemination and exploitation of RTD results (Third Activity of the Fourth RTD Framework Programme, 1994-1998).

The list compiled as a result of this call will be used for the evaluation of proposals and for the periodical review of projects in conformity with the provisions of contracts concluded between the Commission and project participants. Sublists will also be drawn up.

The tasks covered by this call are:

1. Evaluation on a technical/economical level and, having regard to the specific aims of the programme, of project proposals submitted in response to calls for proposals issued under the specific programme for the dissemination and exploitation of RTD results.

The evaluators will judge the proposals on the basis of evaluation criteria mentioned in the calls and in the information documents accompanying these calls. Evaluation will be carried out in the strictest confidence and the Commission will not provide applicants with any information as to the identity of the evaluators judging proposals.

2. Periodical review or evaluation of the definition phase of projects under the specific programme for the dissemination and exploitation of RTD results.

The evaluators will be called upon to examine the reports submitted by project participants and to issue recommendations to the Commission concerning the viability of projects undertaken, i.e. whether they should be continued or discontinued, or their workplan modified.

Applications in response to this call may be submitted until 30 September 1998. An initial selection will be carried out for applications received by 30 September 1996 at the latest. Updates will be effected every six months from this date until 30 September 1998. The validity of the list resulting from this call will expire on 30 June 1999.
