Transnational cooperation between SMEs and the craft sector

The European Commission, DG XXIII, has published a call for proposals for transnational cooperation projects between SMEs and the craft sector in the European Union.

As part of the second multiannual programme in favour of enterprises, and SMEs in particular (1993-1996), the Commission is giving concrete form to actions of a transnational and innovative nature aimed at promoting cross-border cooperation between small enterprises and the craft sector, and setting out to establish lasting partnerships in the form of cross-selling, co-production, research and development, research of third-country markets, etc.

The Commission intends to co-finance projects which are in support of the abovementioned priorities and the second multiannual programme.

The proposals must involve organizations, small enterprises and craft-sector businesses from at least two countries in the European Economic Area.
