The "Educational multimedia software" call will bring together tasks from the work programmes of a number of specific RTD programmes from the Fourth Framework Programme, as well as from certain other Community programmes. The following programmes are expected to be involved:

- Telematics Applications;
- Information Technologies (ESPRIT);
- Targeted Socio-economic Research (TSER);

- Trans-European telecommunications networks (TEN-Telecom);

The list of programmes involved in the call has not yet been finalized and some changes may still be made. The deadline for submission of proposals is likely to be in mid-March 1997, allowing three months for the preparation of proposals.

Full details of the call will be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities. Information will also be available on the I'M-Europe server on the World Wide Web.
