European Design Prize - Travelling Exhibition

The awards ceremony of the 1997 European Design Prize (EDP'97) took place in Paris, France, on 31 January 1997. Eleven European companies were selected to receive the EDP award from among 365 companies nominated from 16 countries.

A travelling exhibition featuring all 64 finalists of EDP'97, including the 11 EDP winners, is now available for display, The exhibition, which has already been staged in Paris, Frankfurt and Lille, requires an exhibition space of 150m2. It comes in easily transportable cases with full assembly instructions (total weight 500kg). Although travel insurance is provided, travel and maintenance costs must be covered by interested parties.

The aim of the EDP is to stimulate awareness and use of design as an instrument to support innovation and quality and strengthen the competitiveness of companies. The EDP is a project of the Community's INNOVATION programme.
