The European Commission, DG X, has published a call for applications, under the KALEIDOSCOPE programme, for Community financial support for cultural projects and events taking place in 1998, in principle the last year in which the programme will operate. The KALEIDOSCOPE programme supports cultural and artistic activities having a European dimension (i.e. involving partnerships of organizations from at least three Member States). The programme comprises the following two Actions under which applications can be submitted: - Action 1: Support for event and cultural projects carried out in partnerships or through networks; - Action 2: Large-scale European cooperation actions.
