The needed holistic approach is a problem for research, science is divided in narrow areas, where deep knowledge is searched for Industrial change with IT is a multifaceted problem, where the effects in the whole company must be covered.

The research program IT in Manufacturing Industry is trying through projects, executed in industry, with researchers from several disciplines and several backgrounds, in cooperation on holistic problems.
What is necessary to create the outstanding industrial system?
- Integration between the main processes
- Room for structural changes
- Must coop with constant upgrades in technology.
No single answer to what is the best solution, depends on business strategy.

Average approx. annual budget: 2.15 M EUR.
