The objective is to study actinide transmutation by spallation in the light of recent cyclotron development.

Layout studies for a realistic spallation target containing a variety of actinide fuel compositions.

Study of the effect of rare-earth concentration on the self-multiplication factor of the target and the decay time changes of the rad-waste.

Synoptical evaluation of all facts to judge the potential of actinide transmutation by spallation.
