Objective

The aim of the work is to study the static and the fracture properties of carbon steel-stainless steel weldments. Various weld geometries; welding consumables and welding procedures will be investigated along with a detailed metallurgical examination of the fusion zones present in these welded joints. The work will be undertaken in collaboration with CENIM, Madrid.
