Objective
Hot rolled sheets are being increasingly used in the production of deep-drawn components but the experience already gained on cold rolled material is not always applicable. Thus the proposed research on hot rolled sheet will consist of: -tests to investigate friction behaviour in drawing -effect of production variables on sheet surface quality and friction properties. The ultimate objective is to define the optimum surface conditions for press-forming.
