Objective

The aim of this project is to cast thin slabs with dimensions of 400 x 50 mm. To achieve this, it is necessary to completely review the design of the input section of the mould and the feed nozzle. Tests will be carried out for non- or low-alloy steels, as well as stainless steels. The thin slabs, which are produced will be subjected to extensive metallurgical analysis.
