Analogue and Mixed-signal Advanced Test for Improving System-Level Testability

Exploitable results

AMATIST is a family of methodologies and circuit architectures which increase the functional test capabilities of systems based on mixed-signal integrated circuits. It consists of an on-line testing/self-checking/built in self test (BIST) methodology; a method for incorporating a unified off/on-line test procedure to analogue integrated circuits; several new circuit structures for testable op-amps; a fault simulation tool, SWITTEST, targeting switched-capacitor circuits; a test program/pattern generation program, MISMATCH, for helping to link design and test environments; a software tool, CADEFSIM, for analogue fault simulation and defect evaluation. AMATIST is targeted at the semiconductor industry, especially foundries and design houses, as well as to test engineering providers.
