Objective

To test the viability of delivering information technology training to disabled persons in their own homes by distance learning methods. To assist the entry of handicapped young people into employment.

Target group :
25 handicapped young people, each with computer, modem and software.

Activities :
Development of training software in the commercial sector.

Local partnership :
Dublin City University distance learning department, FAS (the national training authority), and the National Rehabilitation Board.
