Objective

The project finds its aim in the reduction of the consumption of the moulding sands for foundry purposes, bettering the impact on the environment, recycling them in the foundry. The results are estimated in an effectiveness of 95%.

By the thermo-destruction of the polluting substances the foundry sands are used in the same process of production. By this technique based on: storage, baking up 800 C and colling of the sands, to obtain the destruction of phenolic resins standing in the sands after their use in foundry production.

A postcombustion system assures that the emissions in the atmosphere are under CEE limits. The impact for the supply of sands pit and their waste disposal are lowered by at least 95%.
