Objective
OBJECTIVES
New technology and new ways of working are having a rapid and significant impact and make many of the current strategies redundant. Traditional teaching and training methods, both in-company and external, will have to change. New philosophies need to be developed and disseminated. This project is an enabling process to help industry and training providers take advantage of good practices and ideas. The objectives are to increase skill levels within industry through identifying and communicating examples of good practice. The project will create and develop a working network of businesses and training providers capable of fully understanding the latest problems.
ACTIVITIES
A network of operational business people and training providers will be established under the guidance and direction of each partner. A register of good practice addressing specific areas of need will be established. Examples from companies successful in overcoming problems will be transferred within the network and outside. Through this network a good idea in one company in one country can be communicated across the Community, benefiting enterprises in each country.
PRODUCTS
The results of the project will be training materials including recommendations and input generated by the project. It will also result in a guidebook or register which can be used individually or as a base for consultancy.
