Objective
OBJECTIVES
In recent years the bakery industry has changed radically owing to the creation of a European market which has influenced consumer habits and has increased and diversified the competition. Furthermore, this sector has faced numerous technological and legal changes which have significantly altered the way in which the bakery industry operates. The project therefore proposes to create continuing vocational training programmes for the benefit of company managers in this sector to allow them to deal with current and future changes.
ACTIVITIES
To this end, the partners will firstly try to anticipate the changes with which this sector could be confronted in order to be able to respond in the best possible way to the qualification requirements which will result from them. They will also try to pinpoint the weaknesses of the sector and to identify possible solutions. They will then create an information manual enabling company managers - depending on their requirements - to contact appropriate training centres with the aim of perfecting their skills in a selected field.
PRODUCTS
The finished product will be in the form of an information manual, accompanied by a CD-ROM containing a simulation programme which can be used to determine individual training requirements. These tools will be translated into Spanish, French, Portuguese, Finnish, Danish, German and Dutch.
