Objective
OBJECTIVES
This project is aimed at familiarising company managers with - and training their staff in - storage techniques which meet safety and environmental regulations. This scheme, which calls for the provision of information on Community regulations and how they fit in with national law, will become part of companies' quality/productivity/customer services policies, and is aimed at helping them to develop an internal audit methodology.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will carry out surveys in the participating countries on individual and collective behaviour with regard to safety and the environment specifically in the area of storage, and will identify the most relevant subjects in this area (refuse, packaging, dangerous substances, energy, fluids, noise, air, aerosols, dust, water and effluents, soils, space, landscapes etc.). They will then devise a common audit methodology taking European regulations into account. This audit methodology will be distributed in the form of a training package containing the products listed below.
PRODUCTS
The training package will be of modular design so that it can be adapted to different ability levels. It will consist of a computerised diagnostic tool covering all the themes selected by the experts, information/guidance sheets for each subject, Community texts to which reference is made in the guidance sheets, and their national transcription.
