Objective
OBJECTIVES
Employees of SMEs and micro-businesses in Portugal have difficulty in accessing continuing vocational training for reasons of budget and time. This is why the project is focused on the promotion of open and distance learning and the creation of multimedia tools for self-training purposes so that employees in this sector can continue to train with a view to increasing their competitiveness. These tools could also be used for the training of young unemployed people and for people who wish to set up their own business.
ACTIVITIES
Firstly, the training requirements of the SMEs and micro-businesses will be analysed. On this basis, the partners will be assisted by computer experts in constructing training tools adapted to the requirements of companies in the areas considered to be of strategic importance in the development of this sector (resource management, marketing, recommended business policies, etc.) Once completed, these tools will be evaluated on the basis of a grid for analysing the skills acquired at the end of training. A group of trainers will then be trained using these tools.
