Objective
OBJECTIVES
Companies are having to respond more and more quickly to customer requirements, and have developed several strategies for this purpose. The most efficient of these involves the use of a highly qualified workforce which is capable of taking responsibility in the production process and which operates in autonomous working groups. This method of organisation has become established in numerous industrial sectors such as, for example, the textile sector. The project proposes to create training methods and tools for working group operators, to analyse training requirements and the typical characteristics of this form of work.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will firstly carry out a comparative study of the training requirements of operators of autonomous working groups and the characteristics of this type of work in the sectors of the textile and clothing industries. On the basis of the results of this survey they will produce training modules and tools for distance learning and self-training with the help of groups of target operators. These training materials are primarily intended to develop core skills. The final products will then be disseminated and training policies introduced, with the aim of providing the capacity to adapt training rapidly to technological and organisational changes.
