Objective

OBJECTIVES
The dairy produce sector is controlled by a quota system which aims to improve the quality of both the product and the production process. In order to maintain high-quality dairy production, the intention of the project is to develop a teaching methodology designed for operators in the dairy sector which complies with the quality criteria defined for this sector. This methodology will incorporate a multimedia system consisting of technical charts relating to different phases of production and outlining the causes of inferior milk quality. Following this causal analysis, a system will be activated which will highlight the errors which must be avoided if quality is to be improved.

ACTIVITIES
Firstly, an analysis of the production process and the characteristics of the personnel involved in this process will be carried out by means of a structured questionnaire which will be supplied to the various partner countries. The form will be set out so as to make immediately clear the errors which operators make in the production process. The second step will consist of breaking down the production process, the core skills of the operators, the various approaches taken and their impact on product quality. The results will be presented to the partners for approval. Finally, a meeting with the main partners, in this case the trainers and operators in the dairy sector, will present an ideal platform for discussing the adopted teaching methods and contents.
