Objective
OBJECTIVES
Industrial innovation aims to increase the competitiveness of companies and make jobs secure. Although the importance of the employees' contribution to the innovation process has been repeatedly underlined, the issue of how employees' qualifications can help to improve industrial innovation and how these qualifications can be developed has yet to be addressed. For this reason, the project intends to develop evaluation instruments designed to assess the contribution of the input of skills and thus of vocational training, in relation to the organisation of work, Quality Assurance and environmental protection integrated into production. In this way, the basis of the development of vocational training within the innovation process will be sought.
ACTIVITIES
Following the development of general training objectives aimed at innovative on-going vocational training in the three areas cited, a self-evaluation "tool box" will be produced in conjunction with the transnational partners. This will refer to concrete projects for qualifications and companies and regions. This instrument owes its transnational nature to its high degree of transferability, which takes account of the contextual differences between the different European regions.
PRODUCTS
The project intends to create a "tool box" which allows self-evaluation of the contribution of on-going professional training to the process of industrial innovation.
