Objective

OBJECTIVES
Technological innovations and the new methods for organisation of work to which they are giving rise are affecting the level of qualifications which companies demand. This project aims to identify and anticipate qualification needs through close co-operation between universities, training centres and companies. This will, in the long term, enable training offers to be matched to training demand through the creation of a methodology which can anticipate the emergence of new technologies and skills needed to apply them.

ACTIVITIES
Initially, the project aims to analyse the repercussions of the introduction of new technologies in work and to draw up a list of training needs adapted to these new technologies. A typical profile for a catalyst which can detect the technological changes and skills required for their use will then be developed. On the basis of these data, on-going training modules for employees will be created, enabling them to acquire the skills needed to adapt as rapidly as possible to technological innovations. Once the modules have been evaluated, they will be distributed widely throughout the EU.

PRODUCTS
The project aims to create a guide for the catalyst, to develop pilot training plans, together with a database which enables them to be distributed and a bulletin featuring data on technological innovation.
