Objective
OBJECTIVES
If graphic designers wish to meet the future demands of the market, they must be undergo further training, that is to say trained in the use of electronic tools such as multimedia and the Internet. This is why the project would like to set up a working group within which trainers in close co-operation with students will develop training methods and modules for learning on how to use these new media tools. These modules will be incorporated into the vocational training programmes for students of communications, art and graphic design. These programmes will be assessed by the countries of the project and then distributed across the EU.
ACTIVITIES
Trainers and students of the five partner countries of the project meet each other initially in a virtual environment by using new multimedia tools. They come to an agreement on the objectives and on the methods to be used and then exchange training aids which already exist. They then meet in working groups and together draw up training modules. Seminars are organised on the new job descriptions in the graphic design industry, the new skills required, the validation of these skills at European level, the new methods of communication, and the academic approaches in the field of creativity.
PRODUCTS
The project will produce reports on the working seminars, the training modules in the fields of artistic creativity, the communication and media networks, the multimedia products and the CD-ROMs.
