Objective
OBJECTIVES
The question of financing plays a decisive role in the development of vocational training in every country. This research proposes to analyse the national models for financing continuing vocational training in order to contribute to the development of quality and the innovative capacity of these different systems. The partners wish to give birth to innovations in the way in which continuing vocational training is financed, through scientific analysis of the best practices and assessment of these by the social partners. This research will place a special emphasis on the contents of financing and the institutions which provide financing, the beneficiaries and the decision-making process.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will, firstly, produce a description of vocational training structures, with particular attention being paid to the systems of financing and the role of the social partners. Secondly, they will carry out analysis in the field in order to determine the transferability of best practices and the feasibility of models which they have developed, together with the political signification of the results by the social partners.
RESULTS
Publication of the results of the research; analyses and comparisons of frameworks and models for the financing of training in the different countries and the development of transferability criteria.
