Objective
Forestry harvest companies are essentially made up of independent business-people with a structural incapacity to delegate. They are thus unable to access CVT facilities, although this is essential for maintaining the competitiveness of their businesses, enabling them to diversify and developing employment. A transnational training needs analysis undertaken by forestry professionals and training managers will make it possible to set up a flexible, remote, modular training system which will serve as a standard and suit the needs of these workers in terms of methodology and content.
The partners intend to create a flexible training tool (on CD-Rom) to deal with three domains: management of forestry companies, enhancing the value of forests and management of water courses.
Impact
To increase the economic performance of forestry harvest companies by improving CVT, to teach new skills and to diversify the activities of forestry harvest professionals.
