Objective
The aim of this project is to set up a European Higher Vocational Education network in order to train executives who are familiar with the needs of SMEs and are likely to become entrepreneurs or company chief executives. The partners hope, via this network of schools and companies, to reinforce, standardise and develop a method which has already been used successfully over the past ten years by the Higher Institute for International Action and Production. This method aims to:
- complement the training of European technicians with a minimum matriculation+2 level so that they can become practice-oriented executives with technical know-how in various domains;
- familiarise them with the international aspect of their occupation through education and placements abroad; and
- train men and women to be flexible, responsible and to have the potential to set up their own companies.
In addition, this project proposes to standardise training courses in schools and companies as well as student exchanges at European level with the objective of having acquired skills recognised by the EU.
Impact
To make courses for young people take more account of the skills needed by SMEs. To develop graduates' ability to set up companies and manage them within a European context. To make training more European in outlook.
