Objective
Many people have little or no information on European quality standards/norms and they have therefore not yet been able to understand the range, benefit and interest of standardisation. Training has a big role to play here. However, traditional learning techniques are often incompatible with company needs in this area, particularly those of SMEs. One of the answers to this problem is the development of the new pedagogical concept of 'distributed learning', where computer assisted learning can be progressively used as a training resource.
The main aim of the partners is the establishment of a European-level training network in the field of quality. All partners have wide experience of vocational training and are well positioned in their countries to ensure that the project is effective. Use will be made of the Internet, both in terms of co-operation between partners and for the training itself. The training programme will be produced in English and then translated by each partner into their own language.
Impact
This project will benefit the partners involved and all those who wish to acquire a wide overview and knowledge of quality assurance matters.
