Objective
Training in SMEs is usually done by whoever is available at any given time. In most cases this is someone from the human resource department. In other cases, an outside organisation is hired for the job. The objective of this project is to develop instruments that can fill gaps in the provision of vocational training and the evaluation/analysis of its results.
SMEs and their representative networks will be surveyed with a view to understanding fully what they are doing in terms of training and how they do it. They survey will also look into how and when SMEs decide that training is better provided by outside specialists. A series of seminars will be organised to disseminate the results as widely as possible.
Impact
This project will make the planning and management of training easier and more accessible to all.
