Objective
For doctors, telematics can shorten lead-times for diagnostics, accelerate response times at hospitals, improve the quality of service, and lead to more liable diagnoses of patients' problems. The objective of the project is the development of training methods and material to help doctors access information using telematic tools in their daily healthcare sector work.
The partners will develop a course for the healthcare sector focusing on the dissemination of good practice in the use of telematics and multimedia tools in the context of telediagnostics and co-operative work for professionals. Target users of the training are hospital professionals and physicians in general.
Impact
The training developed by this project should change the attitude of healthcare professionals with regard to the use of telematics and lead to significant improvements in patient care.
