Development of cross-disciplinary modules and co-operative work to motivate students and reduce cultural disadvantage

Objective

The aim of this project is to improve the quality of vocational training for people disadvantaged on the labour market or at risk of social exclusion through the development of cross-disciplinary modules and teachers' co-operative work.

The project is designed to develop training materials and techniques to help students with learning difficulties to become aware of their individual strengths and weaknesses and find strategies to overcome social exclusion. The aim of the project is also to enable teachers to find opportunities for co-operation among European partners and agreement on common methods to be developed by teachers of different disciplines when addressing the needs of weaker students, primarily at the beginning of new school courses. The partners will co-operate with a view to developing multidisciplinary approaches in school curricula.

Impact
The training developed by this project will increase the motivation of disadvantaged people with regard to training and employment opportunities.
