Objectif
Up to now, career guidance for adults has concentrated on information and sometimes evaluation, with the development of only a few personalised. This approach is inadequate when it comes to helping adults to deal with career breaks and avoid the risk of social exclusion. To deal with this situation, the project aims to develop adult-oriented career guidance, based on exploiting transverse and evaluating skills acquired on the job, with a view to coming to terms with changing work situations.
This project will take place several phases: the establishment of cooperation between the partners in order to prepare an inventory of existing methodologies; the development of career guidance methodologies on each site, including a study of the transfer of tools and concepts; and finally, an evaluation of the most effective methodology transfer.
Various products will be developed by each partner in the form of written documents: a survey of existing methodologies; a system for identifying needs accompanied by a description of the methodologies transferred and the conditions for their use; a summary of the products of various actions carried out during the project; and a dissemination plan concerning all the regional and national networks of partners within the European Union and through the Internet.
Impact
The dissemination of the results will provide the various players and target groups concerned with an operational career guidance model. The joint methodological references will contribute to vocational mobility.
