Over the past few years, effective time management planning has become even more essential. This pilot project aims to encourage dialogue between different urban sectors, like banking and enterprises, and between institutions, and Ministries and public sector companies, all of which have their undertake their own time management techniques. To be more efficient, the organisation of time within these sectors would benefit from an overall, coordinated vision.
TIMES will create a new occupational profile, which would be capable of developing a territorial time management plan. This will take into account the needs of all the parties involved and, for instance, trades union working practices that regulate working hours. The first step of the project will be to create an exchange and discussion group. Next, the partners will make an inventory of existing experiences in urban Europe in terms of organising time and schedules. Finally, the project will design and test a training project for managers and directors in the sector.
The results of TIMES will be made available on the Internet where there will be discussion groups, so that the results can be discussed and solutions offered.
Impact
This pilot project will create a "schedule map" in a cross-sectoral context and ensure the coherence of actions taken at a strictly sector-based level in terms of time management.
