Objective
In the rapidly expanding graphics/media industry, competition in the international market, technological advances and the development of management tasks mean that organisations need to be flexible and have the personnel capable of operating in a changing environment. This project aims to facilitate the successful, efficient change implementation in the industry through the development and testing of an innovative human resource coaching programme.
The first stage of the project will consist of the identification of critical change factors influencing the industry at general and company level in the partner countries. Following this, programme development will be carried out using specific scanning and identification techniques. An analysis of organisational structure and function, human resources, education practices, quality systems and procedures, for example, will provide a formal framework for continuous learning. Identification of the learning experience, covering areas such as knowledge and skills needs and educational programme and material development needs, will be based on formalised procedures for determining individual company development and coaching requirements. The coaching package will include modules on coaching abilities, in-house learning, management of learning, education processes and interactive cooperation. The Programme structure will ensure that training sessions and techniques are customised for changing requirements. The project places human resources development in its natural business context and promotes learning as a continuing process, developing in response to organisational change.
Impact
The project will encourage the development of productive business structures, efficient professional coaching programmes and promote learning as a means to employee empowerment.
