Objective
All trades in the dairy sector, including industrial and handicraft trades, have a considerable influence on qualification requirements. The goal of this pilot project is to improve and harmonise qualifications in this sector in European Union's SMEs.
MAC-LAC will first analyse the training needs of dairy product manufacturers and determine employment specifications. The next step will be the design, development and testing of a training programme. Beneficiaries of this training campaign will include enterprises, workers and entrepreneur and employee organisations in the dairy industry, as well as the professional, sectoral bodies and labour market/employment organisations. Partners in this project include the National School of Milk and Meat (ENILV), in France and the National Federation of Dairy Industries (FENIL) in Spain.
Training tools will be made available in Italian, French, Spanish and English to reach a wider audience.
Impact
MAC-LAC will contribute to the increased professionalism of current and potential producers in the dairy sector.
