Objective
The impact of industrial activity on the environment has been of increasing concern in recent years, resulting in changes in standards, regulations and laws. Industry must have ready access to information and expertise to comply with the new requirements. New technology based systems provide practical solutions to these needs.
The training, educational, and industrial partners in this project have, through previous EU programmes, enhanced new technology based training provision. This project aims to promote environmental training for technicians in mechanical engineering and in manufacturing through the development of more advanced systems. These will include :
