Objective
To train, with modular units, programmers and analysts who have been working in companies for more than 5 years. Their skills need standing updating. Yet, those programmers and analysts have no opportunity of being further trained in their companies and evening courses do not offer appropriate courses.
MAIN DOMAIN OF INNOVATION:
Innovative training needs analysis with a special focus on core/key qualifications.
TARGET GROUP(S):
People working in SMEs. People at work. Programmers and analysts who have been at work for more than 5 years and whose skills have become obsolete.
OPERATING CONTEXT:
Safeguarding jobs. Raising qualifications. Quality assurance development. Because their knowledge has become obsolete, programmers and analysts risk losing their jobs.
TECHNOLOGY:
Information and communication technologies. Computer science including software engineering.
INVOLVEMENT WITH ENTERPRISES:
Training institute-enterprise cooperation. Training consortia.
INVOLVEMENT OF SOCIAL PARTNERS:
The training is organised in companies with the agreement of Trade Unions.
RESULTS:
Training programmes/courses for advanced technologies. Innovative training materials. 620-hour training courses in modular units with two 16-hour self learning courses on software metrics and on parallelism.
