Training of Engineers in Trainers' Situations

Objective

To train engineers to their role of trainers and monitors of training process within the enterprises. To develop courses for train engineers as initial and continuing trainers in order to update their individual skills according to technological development.

MAIN DOMAIN OF INNOVATION:

Methodologies for the planning and management of training in the framework of human resource development.

TARGET GROUP(S):

Trainers/Instructors/Tutors. Managers. Engineers aged 25-40 and working trainers.

OPERATING CONTEXT:

Raising qualifications. Quality assurance development. Competitiveness. To improve the competitiveness of the enterprise through the analysis of engineers qualifications.

TECHNOLOGY:

Information and communication technologies. Industrial and materials technologies. Environmental related technologies. Learning technologies.

INVOLVEMENT WITH ENTERPRISES:

Training institute-enterprise cooperation. Partnership between large enterprises and SMEs. Partnership with employers associations, trade unions, joint bodies.

INVOLVEMENT OF SOCIAL PARTNERS:

Projects managed and coordinated jointly by social partners. Project managed or coordinated by trade union(s). Project managed or coordinated by employer's association.

RESULTS:

Innovative training materials. Transferable models and concepts. Training programmes/courses for advanced technologies.
