Objective Due to the forced agricultural policy in Central-Eastern Europe during the last five decades many areas with low-grade soils have been forced into agricultural production. The size of these low productive areas will be assessed in this study, because these areas are quite good for production of biomass. A relevant land classification method and a theoretical decision supporting model will be developed, in order to make decision taking on land utilization easier. Parallel with the work, the results will be published.
