Objective
ASTER was set up in the framework of EUROTECNET I. It is a method for job analysis that identifies the content of jobs and the conditions they are performed giving consideration to readily foreseeable changes. On the basis of the conclusion thus reached, the consortium intends to refine the forecasting dimension of the method -what skills will be required tomorrow- and make it more operational in training terms -how to go from a new qualification profile to the definition of training objectives. This method will result in an auto-diagnosis instrument intended for SMEs/SMIs.
