Objective

To combat literacy problems by developing appropriate teaching instruments. To train trainers to help very poorly qualified young people.

Target group :
Adults working with illiterates: trainers, administrative staff, guidance workers.

Activities :
Inventory of local initiatives dealing with illiteracy. Identification of the key factors for successful training. Development of diagnostic instruments to help with learning of reading.

Local partners :
The University of Paris VIII.

The project is in contact with the University of Zaragosa (E) and ENAIP in Lombardy (I).
