Objective
The proposal aims at organising an integrated set of training courses for nuclear off-site emergency management in Europe. The series of three courses will be beneficial to those dealing with (aspects of) nuclear emergency planning and management and will be open mainly to participants from the EU and Central and Eastern Europe. The objective of the first course is to give a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of emergency planning and response. The second and third courses will build on the first course and provide both, training for RODO S users on how to assimilate best the system results in decision making on interventions, and information and training in early and late phase issues by performing exercises using RODOS as didactic tool. These two training courses will be capable of being customised to national conditions (e.g. where RODOS has been implemented for operational use).
