Objective
Research objectives and content
The objective is firstly to create an 'empirical based' theory of the effects of atypical forms of work on the organisational structure/ human resource management of firms. The second aim is to investigate how society as a whole is effected by those forms of work, i.e. social inclusion and exclusion of disadvantaged groups.
The research is designed to show the options for policy makers in the member states, in the light of changing working patterns. Special attention will be paid to the question of European convergence and divergence.
Training content (objective, benefit and expected impact)
The objective of the training is to make effective use of data produced by the different disciplines involved in labour market management. The benefits of the approach will be to facilitate the transfer from academic work into practice
