Objective
To give an international dimension to courses and to introduce new technologies into teaching methods.
Target group :
100 young people aged 16 to 19, in industrial and craft training school.
Activities :
Modular sandwich-style training. Use of advanced technologies in design, production, quality control, marketing and sales. Contract work. Participation in international fairs.
Local partners :
Professional bodies, international furniture library, firms.
Comments :
The project is cooperating with Basford Hall College, Nottingham, and Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education (UK); the 'lycee polyvalent' in Belfort, the wood industry high school in Epinal and the technical lycee in Mouchard (F); the high school in Rosenheim and the vocational school in Fribourg in Brisgau (D); the EOMMEX in Athens (GR); the AIDIMA in Valencia (E) and with Czechoslovakia. It is also in the EUROLIGNA international association (D, GR, E, F, P, UK, Poland).
