Objective

Energy savings, improvement of product quality (avoidance of cracking) and product diversity (IF steels) by application of a high pressure descaling system in a wide strip hot rolling mill. Innovative: hydraulic descaling system with rotating orifice caps and multitude of independent piston pumps operating at very high pressure, leading to flexible operation with reduced water and energy consumption.
